Satin is an extremely delicate fabric and can get damaged very easily, that is why we recommend being careful and avoid wearing satin shoes or bags in wet weather at all times.
Keep your satin shoes clean in-between wear by keeping them in a dust bag. Dust them off sporadically with a dry cloth, but avoid rubbing the dust into the fabric.
Note that you should never use hot water on satin, as this can result in shrinkage.
